Our Approach to Care

Comfortable Drop-Table Technique

Many people are surprised by how comfortable chiropractic treatment can be. Dr. Roy Rodrigues uses a gentle drop-table technique that many patients find more comfortable than they expected. This approach often allows adjustments to be delivered with less force than traditional manual techniques, helping many patients feel more relaxed and comfortable during treatment.

Thorough Assessment

Every patient visit begins with a thorough assessment to better understand your current symptoms, progress, and any factors contributing to your condition. This helps ensure that treatment is both appropriate and safe, while allowing care to be tailored to your individual needs.

Personalized Care Plans

Treatment recommendations are based on your condition, symptoms, health history, and how long the problem has been present. Care plans are designed to support recovery, improve function, and help you return to your normal activities as quickly and safely as possible, while supporting long-term spinal health and mobility.

Spinal Muscle Scanning (SEMG)

As part of every new patient assessment, spinal muscle scanning (SEMG) is used to evaluate patterns of muscle activity along the spine. Changes in muscle tension can provide valuable information about areas of spinal dysfunction and help guide the overall assessment process. SEMG is one of several tools used to develop a more complete understanding of your condition.

Custom Orthotics

Custom orthotics may be recommended to help improve alignment, support movement, and reduce stress on the feet, knees, hips, and spine. Using GaitScan technology, Dr. Roy Rodrigues evaluates walking mechanics and weight distribution to identify biomechanical imbalances that may be contributing to discomfort or dysfunction.

For some patients, orthotics are used to complement chiropractic care. Others seek orthotics as a standalone service to help improve comfort, support, and overall function during everyday activities.
